Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical technique for digitizing polymorphic evaluation of a nucleic acid. SOLUTION: A method for evaluating the polymorphism of the nucleic acid of an organism includes carrying out an amplifying treatment of a DNA fragment from a genomic DNA or an RNA; visualizably separating the amplified DNA fragment on the basis of molecular weight; then deciding whether or not the amplified DNA fragment exceeding the threshold value of a prescribed signal intensity is present within the range of the molecular weight on the basis of the range of the molecular weight preliminarilly defined for a discriminable individual DNA fragment; digitizing the presence or absence of each amplified DNA fragment; comparing the resultant numerical data for the amplified DNA fragment among samples respectively; and/or carrying out comparison thereof with the numerical data predetermined with the nucleic acid of the known organism.
