Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control apparatus that detects that an on-failure has occurred in an output switching element provided between a motor drive circuit and a motor, prevents inflow of current, and makes the motor to operate. SOLUTION: The motor controller 1 includes motor drive circuits 21, 22; output switching elements 23 to 26, provided between a motor 31 and each of the motor drive circuits 21, 22, failure detector circuits 27a to 27d, and a higher-level control circuit 10. The higher-level control circuit 10 detects a failure in the output switching elements 23 to 26, by using the failure detector circuits 27a to 27d respectively provided for the output switching elements 23 to 26. Then it controls the motor drive circuits 21, 22 and the remaining output switching elements, depending on which output switching element is faulty. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
