ELECTRODE BASE MATERIAL FOR SOLAR CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode base material that facilitates the assembly of solar cells and has a metal wiring layer for an interconnector or a collecting electrode, or for both of them. SOLUTION: The electrode base material has a resin layer and the metal wiring layer for the collecting electrode or the interconnector, wherein the metal wiring layer has a portion having a cross-sectional shape of a trapezoid or a top having a cross-sectional shape of a trapezoid, and a portion of the metal wiring having a maximum width is embedded in the resin layer. Preferably, a conductive connection member layer for connecting lead-out electrodes is formed on the metal wiring layer corresponding to each of the lead-out electrodes of the solar cell.
