FIXTURE AND ELECTRIC CONNECTOR USING THE FIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture 20 and an electric connector 10 having simple structures, attaining sure locking and reducing working/maintenance costs. SOLUTION: The fixture 20 is attained by the fixture 20 for molding a means engaging with a mate and a mounting means into an integrated structure by pressing a conductive material, having a means conducting to a shell 16 and forming a female screw part 22 in a direction in which it fits on the mate as the engaging means. In the electric connector 10 including a plurality of contacts 14, a housing 12, the shell 16, the means engaging with the mate and the means mounting to a substrate, the electric connector 10 is attained by the electric connector 10 disposing the fixture 20 molding the means engaging with the mate and the mounting means into the integrated structure by pressing the conductive material and having the means conducting to the shell 16 and forming the female screw part 22 in the direction in which it fits on the mate as the engaging means of the fixture 20 to conduct the shell 16 to the conducting means of the fixture 20.
