Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay which suppresses driving energy in a card from becoming greater by suppressing melting of the card. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay includes a moving contact 31a arranged facing a normally open contact 30a with space therebetween and this moving contact 31a is provided in a cantilever manner to the moving contact plate 31. The moving contact 31a is brought into contact with the normally open contact 30a by pressing the moving contact plate 31 by a pressing section 22 of a card 2 which is linked with an armature 16 which is activated by an electromagnet section 1. An inserting section 23 is projected from the card 2 for insertion into a guide hole 31c formed on the moving contact plate 31. The guide hole 31c is arranged in a direction perpendicular to a general surface 31G provided with the moving contact 31a of the moving contact plate 31 while having space with the moving contact 31a.
