PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform prompt information exchanges by instantaneously confirming contents of e-mail and a data file, etc. which arrive at a user regarding a portable terminal with a communication function and a data automatic distribution system. SOLUTION: When a message receiving part 105 receives a newly arriving message which notifies that a newly arrived file (or the e-mail) exists, a control part 101 obtains identification information for specifying the file (or the e-mail) and the telephone number of a host computer by analyzing the newly arriving message. Then, after performing line connection with the host computer via a cellular phone transmitting/receiving part 107, an order request command of the file (or the e-mail) is transmitted, and the file (or the e-mail) is automatically acquired from the host computer and presented to the user by using a display part 102.
