Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display device, which includes a plurality of display elements including a composition for display, and can excellently displaying an image. SOLUTION: First, a positive electrode 11a is formed on a substrate 10 (a) and (b). Next, an insulating layer 11b made of PVK is formed (c). An ink solution 21 containing a solvent dissolving the insulating layer 11b and the composition for display is applied to a position opposed to the positive electrode 11a on the insulating layer 11b (d). Then, the solvent in the ink 21 is evaporated to solidify the composition for display that is a non-volatile component of the ink 21 while it keeps electric junction with the positive electrode 11a (e). An electron injecting layer 11e is formed (f). In such a case, a surface on an opposite side to a side contacting with a light emitting layer 11c and a partition 11d in the electron injecting layer 11e which has been applied is set to be flatter than a surface comprising the light emitting layer 11c and the partition 11d.
