DEVICE FOR TESTING ROCKING ROTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for testing rocking rotation, capable of performing both endurance test and performance test of a machine component or the like. SOLUTION: The test device includes: movable parts (a swing arm 10, a spindle 30) for rocking and at the same time rotating a movable tool 50 to which a test piece 2 is connected; resistance force measuring means (a component sensor 51 and a torque sensor 52) disposed between the movable part and the movable tool 50 for measuring the resistance force of the test piece 2; a rocking member 53 moving between a control position by which the relative displacement of the movable tool 50 and the movable part is controlled and a release position by which the relative displacement between the two sides is not controlled; and a rock switching mechanism 55 for switching the rocking member 53 from the controlled position and the release position, wherein the rock switching mechanism 55 includes a relative displacement allowance gap 21 which allows the relative displacement between the movable tool 50 and the movable part within the range that an excessive bending moment over a permissible value is not applied to the resistance force measuring means.
