Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of vertical adjustment of a lower screed, and realize reduction in weight and size of a device for vertically adjusting the screed. SOLUTION: This device for vertically adjusting the screed of a road paving machine has the lower screeds 11A and 11B and an upper screed 12 supported by a common screed arm 14. A lower end of a screw shaft 18 for vertical adjustment is screwed into a holding member 15 for holding the lower screeds 11A and 11B or the upper screed 12. In addition, the screed arm 14 includes a link mechanism 25 for supporting the lower screeds 11A and 11B in a vertically-rotatable manner. When the screw shaft 18 is rotatively driven by a motor 20, the vertical position of the lower screeds 11A and 11B can be accurately adjusted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
