Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the finish of paving by preventing one of a lower layer paving material from mixing into the other. SOLUTION: A conveyor chain 22 to which flight bars 25 are attached is installed in a charging feeder 18. A gate member 34 is openably attached to the second dropping port 27 of the charging feeder 18. The longitudinal section of the gate member 34 is formed in a generally J-shape having an arcuate part extending along the outer peripheral edge of the rotating part of the conveyor chain 22 wrapped around an upper sprocket wheel 24. The gap between the gate member 34 and the conveyor chain 22 is substantially equal to the height dimension of the flight bars 25 in such a manner that a paving material does not stagnate or stack in the gap.
