METHOD FOR KNITTING SOCK, AND SOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a sock improving fit feeling at a small toe part, and comprising knitting a small toe bag part so as to be independent from a tip toe bag part to make a small toe (a fifth toe) gradually come closer to a medicinal toe (a fourth toe), and to provide a sock produced by the method. SOLUTION: The method for knitting a sock comprises using a circular knitting machine. When knitting the small toe bag part independently, the rate of increase and decrease of stitch numbers at the inside of the small toe bag is set to become smaller than that of stitch numbers at the outside of the small toe bag in its knitting pattern so as to knit the sock into an asymmetric shape.
