Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyarylate-based optical film which is excellent in heat resistance, transparency, moldability and toughness, and can provide a molded product having a low linear thermal expansion coefficient. SOLUTION: The optical film comprises a composition containing a polyarylate resin, and a swellable clay mineral having a solvent dispersibility. The proportion of the polyarylate resin is 99 to 40 parts by weight and the proportion of the swellable clay mineral having a solvent dispersibility is 60 to 1 part by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the total of the polyarylate resin and the swellable clay mineral having a solvent dispersibility.
