CLEANING AND SORTING APPARATUS FOR KITCHEN GARBAGE BAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized cleaning and sorting apparatus for kitchen garbage bags having a high cleaning function and capable of surely sorting garbage. SOLUTION: The cleaning and sorting apparatus 1 comprises a casing 3 having a charge opening 4 for charging garbage bags, a discharge opening 6 for discharging garbage pushed out of the garbage bag and a discharge opening 8 for discharging the torn garbage bag, water sprinkling mechanisms 17, 26 for sprinkling cleaning water, a transfer screw 11 for transferring as well as tearing the garbage bag toward a rotary drum 10 having through-holes 10a and a transfer blade 24 fixed on a rotary shaft 18 installed inside the rotary drum 10 coaxially with the transfer screw 11 with forming an angle to the axis, having the leading end inclined in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the rotary shaft 18, capable of tearing as well as transferring the garbage bag not torn by the transfer screw 11 and simultaneously pushing the garbage into and discharging the garbage through the through-holes 10a of the rotary drum 10 to the garbage discharge opening 6 and further discharging the torn garbage bag through the discharge opening 8.
