VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which is provided with a draining hole so as to perform positive washing and draining, and whose appearance is improved by hiding the draining hole normally by utilizing an accessory or the like. SOLUTION: A dust collecting box 20 which can be freely inserted and removed to/from a dust collecting chamber 7 provided on the front part side of the body case 3 of a cleaner body 1 includes an attaching/detaching button 32 for freely attaching and detaching a paper pack filter 70 and an opening/closing button 33 for freely opening and closing an opening/closing lid 26. The attaching/detaching button 32 and the opening/closing button 33 are exposed at the upper surface part 21b of the dust collecting box 20, and a button cover 50 is attached so as to cover the rest with a gap from the upper surface part 21b. One vertical draining hole 58 is provided on a center upper surface wall 57, and two horizontal draining holes 59 are provided on the rising wall 54a of the button cover 50.
