Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote metering system whose communication path between a master device and a coupler is comparatively short and the number of couplers correspondent to the number of power lines can be located. SOLUTION: A sub-device is positioned on an electric power metering device which monitors a working power for each load connected to electric power lines of a plurality of systems, and the master device 1 acquires metered data on the electric power metering device from the sub-device by an electric power line transferring communication through a communication path including an electric power line in the communication path. The master device 1 transfers the metered data to a server which is controlled by an electric power company through the communication path including a wide area information communication network. A coupler 3, which passes through a communication signal used for each electric power transferring communication, is inserted between electric power lines of different systems.
