MUTUAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTED APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible bidirectional user interaction between apparatuses which inherently have no compatibility with each other and have different platforms such as a mobile telephone machine and a PC. SOLUTION: A first information processing apparatus 10 is equipped with: a first application 15; and a first control section 13 which, when it receives a signal indicating that the first application 15 should be executed from a second information processing apparatus 20, executes the first application 15 and outputs the execution result to the second information processing apparatus 20. The second information processing apparatus 20 is equipped with: a second application 25; and a second control section 23 which receives information indicating functions of the first and second applications 15 and 25, and when the second application 25 includes no function to be executed and the first application 15 includes a function to be executed, outputs a signal indicating that the first application 15 should be executed to the first information processing apparatus 10.
