PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device such as a cellular phone which carries a projector function capable of performing appropriate correction corresponding to a surface on which an image is projected according to an operating condition. SOLUTION: The cellular phone 100 having the function as a projector detects relation between an installation position of the cellular phone 100 and a projection surface by determining whether to perform wall surface projection or to perform desk surface projection based on detection by a pair of proximity object sensors 36a, 36b and also considering a detection result for a rotation angle of a display part 1 and an operation part 2 by detection by an angle sensor 37. Thus, since the cellular phone 100 corrects an image from a detected result, appropriate correction is performed corresponding to the surface on which the image is projected according to the operating condition as the projector.
