Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an effective electrical connection between boards when two boards are connected to each other in a condition where spacing is maintained. SOLUTION: A board spacer 13 comprises: an octagonal pillar shaped body 14 made of synthetic resin; and eight signal conductors 15 that extend on the side surface of the body 14 upward and downward and are used for electrically connecting between boards 11 and 12. A screw hole 14c is formed in the center of substrate contact surfaces 14a and 14b located at the upper part and lower part of the board spacer 13 respectively. Around the peripheral portion of the screw hole, three positioning protuberances 16 that is fitted into the concave portion 18 of the board 12 are formed. In the signal conductor 15, an extension portion 15a is arranged in a bloated manner, which extends so that it turns around at the edge and reach the board contact surface 14b. On the board 12 eight connection electrode portions 20 are arranged to correspond to the extension portion 15a of each signal conductor 15 in a way so that the board 12 is bloated from its surface and the connection electrode portions 20 reach the side surface portion of the board spacer 13.
