CHOKE COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil that can be reduced in height, when mounted by forming an opening in a lower portion of a substrate where the choke coil which can be held and fixed in a hollow state and has a terminal base for improving substrate mountability is mounted, and then fitting at least a portion of the choke coil, can be held and fixed at a predetermined height, has good operability of substrate mounting, and secures mounting strength after the substrate mounting. SOLUTION: The choke coil has a pair of coils 5 formed to be an equivalent circuit shown in Fig.1(e). An insulating case 3 has a plate-like partition plate 6 bisecting a ring shape to insulate the coils from each other, and the plate-like terminal base 7 at an end of the insulating case 3 to which the partitioning plate extends beyond the partitioning plate 6, the both being molded in one body such that a mounting surface P1 of the terminal base 7 for the mounting substrate is disposed above the lowest surface P0 of the choke coil.
