PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel easily fastened to a fastening object, a mounting structure of optical equipment mountable with the lens barrel, and a camera. SOLUTION: This lens barrel (2) includes a mounting base (41) that is formed in a cylindrical shape and makes subject light pass on its inner diameter side, an engaging section (42) disposed movably with respect to the mounting base between an engaging position at which it mechanically engages with the fastening object (1) and fastens the fastening object to the mounting base and a non-engaging position at which engagement with the fastening object is released, and a moving member (51) movable between an opening position at which it evacuates from the light path of the substantial subject light and a closing position at which it is arranged on the light path in interlock with the movement between the engaging position of the engaging section and the non-engaging position.
