SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition containing BaTiO3and containing BaZrO3and rare earth (R) oxide as auxiliary components, has a surface diffusive particle comprising a non-diffusive phase and a diffusive phase. The concentration of Zr and R are measured to a micro-region in the diffusive phase, and an aggregate of a micro-region where the concentration of R is larger than the concentration of Zr is defined as a first region and an aggregate of a micro-region where the concentration of Zr is higher than the concentration of R is defined as a second region.
