Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient vacuum cleaner in which length of an expandable handle is automatically reduced only by bringing the vacuum cleaner into a storage state in which a cleaner body is set to a battery charger. SOLUTION: Fixation of an expandable tail lock 31 of the operation expandable handle 9 is released in conjunction with mounting of the cleaner body 1 in the battery charger 13. Thus, only by mounting the cleaner body 1 in the battery charger 13, the operation expandable handle 13 is easily shortened without manually operating the expandable tail lock 31.
