Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic attraction device that securely removes static electricity generated in a body to be processed which includes a body to be attracted without damaging the body to be processed, and securely attracts the body to be attracted, and to provide a selecting device. SOLUTION: The magnetic attraction device 10 that attracts the body 2 to be attracted being a magnetic body includes a magnetic field generating unit which generates a prescribed magnetic field, and the magnetic field generating unit includes a magnetic field generating source 11, and an electric conductor 12 which is fixed to the magnetic field generating source 11, and guides electric charges accumulated in the magnetic field generating source 11 to a ground potential 13 (reference potential) by being electrically connected to the ground potential 13 (reference potential).
