Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor which prevents saturation of an amplification circuit due to an offset of a multi-element infrared sensor 101 for detecting infrared rays and obtaining a current or voltage output proportional to intensity of infrared rays or a fluctuation in offset, attain a high amplification factor and improve S/N. SOLUTION: Even if a large offset or a fluctuation in offset is observed in the infrared sensor 101, the offset is removed while making use of an A/D converter 109, a first memory 114, a D/A converter 112 and a second memory 114 by a control circuit 113. Amplification takes place in a first amplification circuit 102 and a second amplification circuit 104 without saturating the amplification circuits, and a digital output having a quantum error in converting into a digital value eliminated is also obtained.
