PINCH(CATCH)ING SENSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinching sensing device capable of distinguishing attachment of moisture to its sensor from contact with a human body. SOLUTION: The pinching sensing device includes: the sensor (410) whose capacitance changes by the contact with the human body and whose resistance value becomes high when disconnected and becomes low when short-circuited; a capacitance detection means (502) for detecting the capacitance of the sensor; a resistance detection mean (503-506) for detecting the resistance of the sensor; a determination means (501) for respectively performing pinching determination based on a capacitance detection signal by the capacitance detection means, and pinching determination based on a resistance detection signal by the resistance detection means; and a distinguishing means (501) for distinguishing the attachment of the moisture to the sensor from pinching of a human body, by utilizing the result of the pinching determination based on the capacitance detection signal and the result of the pinching determination based on the resistance detection signal.
