PLASTER FOR EXTERNAL USE, AND METHOD FOR APPLYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plaster enabling its release liner to be easily peeled off even in the case of a patient whose fingertips are handicapped somewhat and grasping power has declined such as an elderly person, and also enabling a series of operations reaching to its application to be conducted easily, and enabling physical force necessary for releasing it to be controlled as well. SOLUTION: The plaster for external use includes a substrate, a self-adhesive layer laminated on one side of the substrate, and a release liner attached releasably onto the self-adhesive layer. In this plaster, the release liner is composed of at least two release films, wherein (a) the first release film is attached onto the self-adhesive layer so as to cover the layer from one shorter side of the substrate to any site in the longitudinal direction of the substrate and has a taperedly formed tongue-piece-shaped part on the above any site side, and (b) the second release film is attached onto the self-adhesive layer so as to cover the exposed portion of the layer where the first release film is not attached, and a part of the second release film is superimposed on the first release film so as to cover the above tongue-piece-shaped part.
