Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two phase type activated sludge process equipment which uses two phase activated sludge process equipment comprising an aeration tank and a precipitation tank to reduce excess sludge, and enables the existing activated sludge process equipment to be easily remodeled and the main parts thereof to be easily replaced relatively inexpensively, and to provide a method for remodeling two phase type activated sludge process equipment. SOLUTION: The two phase type activated sludge process equipment is constituted in such a manner that waste water is clarified through an aeration tank for fluidizing a carrier and a precipitation tank separating the waste water into supernatant water and excess sludge, wherein one water tank is divided to form a first aeration tank and a second aeration tank.
