Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source driving device and method for a backlight unit. SOLUTION: The light source driving device for the backlight unit includes a plurality of LED trains, and a power supply output terminal and a feedback terminal to which the LED trains are connected, wherein a LED driver is provided for driving LEDs with PWM signals to be delayed in sequence. The LED driver determines the number of LED channels to be driven in accordance with signals input through the feedback terminal to delay the PWM signals based on a value of a phase difference to be adjusted in accordance with the number of the LED channels.
