VOLTAGE CONTROLLER, VOLTAGE CONTROL METHOD, AND PHOTOVOLTAIC CHARGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage controller, a voltage control method and a photovoltaic charger for highly maintaining use efficiency of solar power generation. SOLUTION: This photovoltaic character 1 is configured to sample an output voltage when PWM control is stopped at prescribed sampling intervals, and to calculate the output voltage based on the sampled output voltage, and to set the target voltage of the output voltage maximizing the output power, and to adjust the output voltage to the target voltage. Thus, it is possible to calculate the target voltage maximizing the output power without measuring an open voltage, and it is not necessary to stop the operation of a solar battery. Also, it is possible to more reduce any disturbance (error), and to more accurately calculate the target voltage than in PWM control by calculating the target voltage based on the transient characteristics of the output voltage when PWM control stops.
