DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus for setting the environment, where images are not peered, by actively halting a peering. SOLUTION: The display apparatus includes: a display section 26 which shows display information; an image pickup section which picks up an image pickup area which is at least part of an area where display information shown on the display section 26 is visible; a peering detection section 21 which detects a person from the image picked up by the image pickup section; a position calculating section 23 which calculates the position of a person in the picked up image, detected by the person detecting section 21; and a peering prevention control section 10 which, based on the position calculated by the position calculating section 23, presents a direction that is out of the area where the image of the person is picked by the image pickup section.
