Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate the paper sheet from the fixing roller or belt. SOLUTION: In a first nip 140 in the fixing device 100, the toner image is heated, pressed, and fixed on the paper sheet P. In the second nip 142, the curvature of the fixing roller 110 is deformed by the separator 134 so that the front surface side of the paper sheet P is separated from the fixing roller 110 by this deformed curvature. At the downstream of the second nip 142, the fixing belt 120 is contacted and pressed by the driven roller 150 and the curvature of the fixing belt 120 is deformed so that the back surface side of the paper sheet P is separated from the fixing belt 120 by this deformed curvature.
