DOOR OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing device which can smoothly open a door by stepping on a pedal, firmly maintains a door closed state against application of pressing force to the door from outside, and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the door opening/closing device, the door 5 is prevented from swaying to the outside of a room to close a rectangular opening section, and normally energized to sway in a door opening direction that is on the inside of the room by a door opening energizing means. Then a latch bolt 12 is mounted on an internal surface of the door 5 such that a sliding inclined surface of an end thereof faces toward a door closing direction, and an engaging member 32 is mounted on an internal wall surface of an opening end of a frame wall 3 so as to be displaceable between an engaging position that engages with the latch bolt 12 and an engagement canceled position that cancels the engagement. Further the pedal is arranged on a lower portion of the internal wall surface of the frame wall 3, and stepping-down operation of the pedal 45a is interlocked with the displacement of the engaging member 32 by a link member 38.
