COSMETIC SUITABLE FOR STRENGTHENING HORNY LAYER CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic that enhances restoration of skin barrier functions of rough skin, in particular, in order to improve skin barrier functions. SOLUTION: The cosmetic includes an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Salicornia of the family Chenopodiaceae and an extract of Arctium lappa belonging to the family Asteraceae and/or Tilia miqueliana belonging to the family Tiliaceae. Concretely, the cosmetic includes, as an essence thereof, an extract by a hydrophilic solvent or a solvent-removed product thereof of a plant belonging to the genus Salicornia of the family Chenopodiaceae, such as Salicornia europaeae. Specifically, the extracting solvent includes one or a combination of two from among water, a lower alcohol and a polyhydric alcohol. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
