LENS AND PROCESS OF MOLDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens produced with an insert mold adjustable in a rotation angle, in which an angle of the insert mold during molding can be found out. SOLUTION: A lens 1 includes an optical function part 2 having an optical function, and a flange part 3 formed in a flange shape on the circumference of the optical function part 2. The lens 1 has two of a second surface 11 and a first surface 12 in which at least light is entered or emitted. The optical function part 2 is predominantly molded with insert molds 71, 72 provided with a circular forming surface and also adjustable in a rotation angle by being rotatable along the circumferential direction of the forming surface, in the second surface 11 and the first surface 12. Marks 51, 52 for indicating rotation angles of the insert molds 71, 72 are formed on a flange surface 31 of the second surface 11 and a flange surface 32 of the first surface 12 of the lens 1, by concave parts 73, 74 prepared on the insert molds 71, 72.
