AREA IMAGE SENSOR SUPPORT DEVICE AND TILT ADJUSTMENT METHOD OF THE SAME SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area image sensor support device and a tilt adjustment method capable of easily and promptly performing a tilt adjustment operation using shims. SOLUTION: The area image sensor support device includes: a holder 3A which holds an area image sensor 2 and provided with shim attachment parts 3P(1)-3P(4) for performing tilt adjustment from each of apexes ap1, ap2, ap3, ap4 of a rectangle imaging surface 2a to contour positions b1, b2, b3, b4 of four points on diagonal extension lines of the imaging surface 2a separated at fixed distance to the outside of the sensor 2; the shims 5 for tilt adjustment which is selectively attached to the shim attachment parts 3P(1)-3P(4) for the tilt adjustment of each apex part of the imaging surface 2a; a holder 3B for tilt adjustment which attaches the holder 3A to a lens mount 1 on both sides of the shims 5 attached to the shim attachment parts 3P(1)-3P(4); and a fixing means 7 for fixing the area image sensor 2 held by the holder 3A to the lens mount 1 via the holder 3B for tilt adjustment.
