Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can prevent an electronic device at the end of wired-connection terminal from remaining in the power save mode inadvertently because of self control. SOLUTION: An electronic device has a plurality of the same type of terminals 3A1-3A3 for wired connection with an electronic device having the power save mode. It further has means 3D and 3E for selecting one of the plurality of terminals for wired connection to input source data and a means (e.g., a CPU) for transmitting a command for requesting transition to the normal operation mode by wire to the electronic device having the power save mode after the input terminal is switched by the selection means.
