Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding switch in which wear of a movable contact is suppressed, and downsizing of a whole switch is provided in a sliding switch. SOLUTION: Three pieces of fixed contacts 7 are arranged in parallel in order separated in one direction on a lower wall 3b of a case body 3. A movable contact 30 extends toward fixed contacts 7a, 7c on both sides, the top end fringe of first contact pieces 36a, 36b in parallel to the fixed contacts is made a contact face to the fixed contacts, and a top end folding-back portion of a second contact piece 37 in a direction crossing the fixed contacts is made a contact face to the central fixed contact 7b. Since the fixed contacts 7a, 7c are not adjacent in sliding direction of the movable contact 30, the wear of the first contact pieces 36a, 36c is reduced, and since a dividing wall 8 is installed between the fixed contacts, there is no possibility of insulation deterioration due to wear powder. Since the contact face of the first contact pieces 36a, 36c is as narrow as a plate thickness, the width dimension of the fixed contacts is made small to suppress the whole size.
