Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for driving a display panel, which prevents the occurrence of erroneous address discharge in an address period, while securing a proper sustain discharge intensity. SOLUTION: An address means includes a first switch element and a second switch element each of which connects a column electrode and a ground terminal, and the first switch element is turned on to connect the column electrode to the ground terminal when a pixel data pulse is not applied to the column electrode in an address period, and the second switch element is turned on to connect the column electrode to the ground terminal in a sustain period.
