PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomizer for stably atomizing mists with a prescribed spraying amount while suppressing a contact pressure of a contact part of a mist producing means and a liquid holding body though the atomizer absorbs atomization liquid from a lower liquid storage tank, and atomizes the mists roughly in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: According to the atomizer, as the liquid holding body of an atomization liquid supplying means is composed of a first liquid holding body 71a, a second liquid holding body 71b and a third liquid holding body 71c, the third liquid holding body 71c kept into contact with the mist producing means 74 is kept roughly in a linear state, in absorbing the atomization liquid from the liquid storage tank positioned at a lower part and atomizing the mists roughly in the horizontal direction. Thus dispersion of the contact pressure of the mist forming means 74 and the third liquid holding body 71c is reduced, and the mists is stably atomized with the prescribed spraying amount.
