RECORDING DEVICE AND SHEET DISCHARGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of automatically making a discharge tray in an opened state when a recording medium is conveyed without requiring a solenoid, etc., for opening the discharge tray, and capable of preventing the discharge tray from being carelessly opened when it is not during recording operation. SOLUTION: The recording device comprises a delay mechanism composed of a plurality of ring members 71, 72, 73, 75, 76 capable of delay rotation in synchronization with a discharge roller 40 and a control mechanism composed of a plurality of link members 81, 84, 86, 87 and a plurality of elastic members 83, 85, 88. The delay mechanism is provided with a plurality of cam parts 753, 762 capable of rotating together with the plurality of ring members and a phase control means for controlling phases of the plurality of cam parts. One link member 86 of the control mechanism is connected to the discharge tray 44. When the phases of the plurality of cam parts are consistent, the discharge tray is opened by driving of the discharge roller via the control mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
