Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl louver capable of enhancing its impact absorbency by increasing a deformation volume while restraining deformation due to contraction force at the time of resin molding. SOLUTION: The cowl louver is a resin molded component comprising a louver body 11 and a front recess 12. A bottom-wall section 14 of the front recess 12 is fixed to a vehicular body panel 3. A bead-shaped reinforcement protrusion section 20 is integrally formed over a region including a front-wall section 15 and the bottom-wall section 14 in the front recess 12. A plate-shaped reinforcement rib 25 extending in a back and forth direction is integrally formed between an upper face of the reinforcement protrusion section 20 and a rear-wall section 13. A connection area between the reinforcement rib and the reinforcement protrusion section 20 is different from a connection area between the reinforcement rib and the rear-wall section 13. The cowl louver is configured such that the front-wall section 15 and the bottom-wall section 14 can be deformed downward relative to a stationary portion 5 of the vehicular body panel 3 as a fulcrum while breaking the reinforcement rib 25 at its small connection area when a hood panel 2 receives external force which is equal to or more than a predetermined value.
