Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated structure of members having coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) different from one another. SOLUTION: The integrated composite structure having a gradient coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) is formed by selecting a plurality of layers made of materials having gradient CTEs and by employing a joining method such as welding, brazing or solid-state bonding. After that, the integrated composite billet or near net shape is processed so as to produce a first surface for mounting a first structural member having a first CTE and to produce a second surface for mounting a second structural member having a second CTE.
