Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot coating gun which applies a liquid with a good cut off coating pattern without turbulence. SOLUTION: In a contact slot coating gun, a wedged partition wall plate 10 is so designed that the thickness in the flowing direction MD of a bottom end 10f contacting a material to be coated may be thinner than the thickness of the top part 10e of the wedged partition wall plate 10, a notch part of an upstream shim 12 pinched between a mouthpiece 2 and the wedged partition wall plate 10 together with the downstream surface of the mouthpiece 2 and the upstream surface of the wedged partition wall plate 10 forms an upstream slot for discharging a liquid, and the notch part of a downstream shim 14 pinched between a body 4 and an the wedged partition wall plate 10 together with the upstream surface 4a of the body 4 and the downstream surface of the wedged partition wall plate 10 forms a downstream slot for discharging a liquid.
