PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which takes an image of an operation user or the other person, transmit a voice and confirm an image while cases are opened or closed when an image pick-up camera is used. SOLUTION: Two cases 1 and 2 are rotatably connected by two hinge connection portions 3a and 3b and an image pick-up camera 14 is provided between the hinge connection portions 3a and 3b so as to be rotatable independently from the cases 1 and 2. A display unit 11 and main operation keys such as a numerical keypad 6 and the like are provided in a front surface side of these cases 1 and 2, a display unit 12, a shutter button 13 of the image pick-up camera 14 and the like are provided in a rear surface side of the case 2, and a switch 9 for changing modes such as imaging and the like is provided in a side surface of the case 1. The image of the operation user or an outside object is taken by changing a direction of the image pick-up camera 14 with a fingertip and the result of photographing or the like is monitored by the display unit 12 even when the cases 1 and 2 are closed.
