DISK LIFTING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a tray on which a disk is placed. SOLUTION: The disk lifting mechanism includes a plurality of arms 4 arranged to surround the outer peripheral edge of a disk on a tray and having a support part 3 for supporting the outer peripheral edge of the disk or the backside of its vicinity, an axial direction moving mechanism for moving the support part 3 of the plurality of arms 4 to one or the other side of the rotational axis direction of the disk, a diameter direction moving mechanism 6 for moving the support part 3 of the plurality of arms 4 to the inner or outer side of the diameter direction of the disk, an operation member 9 provided with an axial direction operation cam 7 for operating the axial direction moving mechanism and a diameter direction operation cam 8 for operating the diameter direction moving mechanism 6, and a driving source for driving the operation member 9. The axial direction operation cam 7 and the diameter direction operation cam 8 are formed into such shapes that the axial direction moving mechanism and the diameter direction moving mechanism 6 cooperatively support the outer peripheral edge of the disk or the backside of its vicinity from the diameter direction outer side to lift the support part 3 of the plurality of arms 4 from the tray.
