PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pressure abnormality occurrence at a high load time of all-chamber cooling operation (CCC operation). SOLUTION: This vending machine has a valve for selectively changing over a flow of a refrigerant between an all-chamber cooling operation mode to supply, through an expansion valve 14, the refrigerant to cooling heat exchangers 17a-17c of respective chambers 1a-1c of a commodity storage 1 whose inside is sectioned into a plurality of chambers after cooling the refrigerant discharged from a compressor 11 by an external heat exchanger 13 and a cooling/heating simultaneous operation mode to supply, through the expansion valve, the refrigerant to the cooling heat exchangers 17b, 17c of the other chambers 1b, 1c except the chamber 1a installed with a heating heat exchanger after directly supplying the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to the heating heat exchanger 18 newly provided in at least one chamber 1a of the respective chambers of the commodity storage. When coming into a high load operation state during the all-chamber cooling operation, the valve is changed over to the cooling/heating simultaneous mode side for a prescribed time to make a surplus of the refrigerant to be stored in the heating heat exchanger.
