Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ripple defect by lessening going and coming of domains different in an orientation direction of liquid crystal molecules in connection parts in a lateral electric field type liquid crystal display panel connecting slit-like openings extending in different directions while bending the slit-like openings in the form of a dogleg. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 1 includes: an upper electrode 130 having a pair of substrates arranged facing each other by sandwiching a liquid crystal layer and having a plurality of the slit-like openings 130a on one of the pair of the substrates; a lower electrode 128 formed on the side of the substrates via the upper electrode 130 and the insulation layer; and an alignment layer formed on the side of the liquid crystal layer. The slit-like opening is bent in the form of the dogleg, and a part in which width of the slit-like opening is narrowed is formed on a corner part bent in the form of the dogleg.
