ELECTRIC KOTATSU

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and electric power saving performance while maintaining comfortability, in an electric Kotatsu adjusting the temperature of a heating space by controlling electric power supply to an electric heater by a controller having a temperature setting means. SOLUTION: In the electric Kotatsu, the heating space 3 is formed in a latticed wooden frame 2 having the electric heater 4, and the temperature of the heating space 3 is adjusted by controlling the supply of power source to the electric heater 4 by the controller 7 having a variable resistance VR as the temperature setting means. The controller 7 has a fixed resistance R1 as a temperature setting change means shifting the temperature setting of the heating space to a lower temperature during the operation of a switch 14.
