Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle capable of lowering a rear end of a seat without degrading the ride quality. SOLUTION: The motorcycle comprises a body frame, a rear arm supported by the body frame in a vertically oscillating manner, a rear wheel supported by the rear arm, a seat 8 arranged above the rear arm, and a rear fender 17 which covers an upper portion of the rear wheel, has an upwardly projecting curved shape in sectional view in the vehicle width direction, and extends backward of the seat from a lower side of the seat 8. The seat 8 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view in which the dimension in the longitudinal direction is larger than the dimension in the vehicle width direction. A forwardly recessed part is formed in a rear end of the seat 8, and a lowest portion of the seat 8 in the recessed part is located at the position lower than the highest portion of the rear fender 17.
