Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FED lighting device for actualizing efficient turn-on of a FED by shooting a great amount of electrons from cathode electrodes to an anode electrode with relatively low voltage. SOLUTION: In a vacuum-sealed space, the first and second cathode electrodes 22, 23 are arranged in opposition to one surface and the phosphor-coated transmissive anode electrode 21 is arranged on the other opposite surface. Approximately symmetrical AC voltage is applied between the first and second cathode electrodes to excite electrons, and the electrons are attracted with first DC voltage applied to the anode electrode so that they collide with the anode electrode to flash the anode electrode.
